The influence of your Moon, Rising, and other planetary signs

At the precise time of your birth, the planets are aligned in a specific position, uniquely influencing your personality.  Your Rising sign, also known as your Ascendant, is the Zodiac sign which appeared on the Eastern horizon at the time you were born. This changes roughly every two days, which is why it is important to know your exact date, time, and place of birth when attempting to discover your Rising sign, Moon sign, and other signs.

Most astrologers agree that the influence of the Moon is extremely important on your character, and, in combination with your Zodiac sign, your true Sun sign, and your Rising sign, forms a major insight into your personality.  I have listed a few of my favourite websites for discovering your Moon sign for yourself, as well as your Rising sign, Venus, Mercury, Mars and other planetary signs. Remember, you will need your date and exact time of birth, as well as place of birth to conduct your search.  If you don’t have your correct time of birth, then an approximation will give you some insight into the signs affecting you. However, you do need place of birth, to place you in the correct time zone.

If you have Moon in Aries, then you are generally full of your own self-importance, and will meet those you encounter in life head-on, no ifs or buts.  Your undoubted leadership skills will come to the fore when you are faced with what seem like insurmountable problems, as you love a challenge.  People may not see this side of you on a first meeting, but your action-oriented, assertive self will push through when the chips are down.  You are full of passion in your personal life, enjoying the chase, rather being chased! You can also become over-emotional within close personal relationships, and will ramp up the drama on occasion. You  react quickly to any bait though, and can flare up heatedly when entering into spirited arguments.  Your home life may be rather chaotic, as you love to have lots of projects on the go, rather than just settling down to one thing at a time.  You are the kind of cook who leaves ingredients strewn around the kitchen as you prepare an ambitious meal, but you do delight in a good job well done, despite being a rather messy person in the home, leaving others to tidy up! You may well be creative, enjoying making a beautiful end product, and are quick to react to any given situation, albeit often in a hot-headed way.  You lead with your head, Aries Moon, and are admired and respected by many.
